What are Foundation’s School Hours?

Students are expected to arrive at the College by 8.15 am for commencement of school at 8.30 am. Permission for students to arrive earlier than this is required from the Principal. Permission will not be given for students to arrive earlier than 8.00 am. Students who arrive late to school must report to the office to collect a late note to present to their teacher.
Recess is between 10.30 and 10.50am

Lunch for Primary students starts at 12.30pm and ends at 1.15pm

Lunch for Secondary students starts at 12.40pm and ends at 1.15pm

The school day ends at 3.05pm

Absent From School?

The College requires a phone call from parents by 9.00 am on the day of absence and a note of explanation on the day of return to school. Students need to enquire from the teacher, regarding any missed work or assignments. While it is the student’s responsibility to catch up, negotiation with the teacher may result in reduced requirements or extended deadlines. A written note of explanation or medical certificate is required from a parent of the student for all absences.

Visitors To The College?

All visitors to the College must sign in at the College office and collect a visitor’s badge before proceeding through the College grounds.

Does the College have a Canteen?

Yes. The College Café is open Wednesdays (hot food only), Thursdays (full menu) and Fridays (no pastry items). Please Note: The canteen is always closed on the last day of the term. Visit the Canteen page on this site.

When is the Uniform shop open?

Tuesdays and Fridays 8:15 am – 3:30 pm

Does the College have a bus service?

The College provides 3 morning and afternoon bus runs servicing the north, south and central areas of Mandurah. Transperth buses provide morning and afternoon services to both Pinjarra/Waroona and the Mandurah train station. Contact the Front Office for details.

What do the Colours of FCC mean?

Green is associated with the Early Learning Centre Years. It is characterized by beginnings, being planted, the establishment of new life. It is all about establishing a good foundation with roots being established.

Light Blue is associated with the Primary Years. It is characterized with watering, nutrients, the nurturing of growth. Establishing strong, extensive roots and sending them deeper. Trunks, stems are forming with skill acquisition and consolidation.

Maroon is associated with the Middle Years. It is characterized with blossoming, building, skill refinement, and feeling the success of stronger skill acquisition and confidence – the branches are reaching out. Stretching. Fruit is forming.

Dark Blue– is associated with the Senior Years. It is characterized by Mastery and Expression during deeper and expansive study. Flourishing in being, skills expression, character development and refinement, display a young plant ready for a fruitful future. Confidence and strength.

Maroon & Dark Blue are the main College logo colors. They speak of the blessing and positional truth of being disciples of Jesus Christ. We are His. He endows us with His Kingship and Royalty.
