The Foundation Performing Arts Centre, which houses the Foundation Theatre was built in 2017 and opened February 2018. It was officially opened by MP Andrew Hastie on the 10th April.  As photos will testify, this state of the art, purpose built facility with a 336 seat capacity theatre, is designed as a specialised teaching and performing space. Music and the Performing Arts have dedicated teaching spaces, complemented by dedicated tutoring rooms, where students can learn any number of musical instruments, during or after school, or develop and practice dramatic pieces. The theatre provides students and the wider community with modern sound, lighting and stage facilities for learning all aspects of performance and theatre craft. The theatre is equipped with the very best in digital AV and stage equipment.

The tasteful foyer area provides a welcoming environment for preshow socialising or events, or a quiet place for appreciating the fine art in the foyer gallery.  A kitchen servery compliments this space for catered events or refeshments.

The centre provides for all ages and people with disabled access needs.
