We have a very active community where our parents support their children to play Sport, Music and pursue The Arts.
Our Students compete in various interschool competitions in Western Australia. Our Primary School competes through WACSSA (WA Christian Schools Sporting Association) in Athletics, Swimming and Cross-Country.
Secondary School Students compete in the ACC (Associated and Catholic Colleges) competitions. The Associated and Catholic Colleges of WA is one of the largest independent school sporting associations in Australia. We have participated successfully in their Athletics, Cross-Country, Swimming, Basketball and Soccer competitions.
With the new appointment of our Head of Music, Mr Peter Shanhun, we are in the process of planning our extra-curricular music programme.
From Term 2, 2021 we will offer lessons for "voice" and piano.
Our amazing Performing Arts Centre has tuition rooms suitable for music instruction where we have also previously held after school lessons in guitar, keyboard, vocals and drums.
Our Primary Choir is a popular group and each year students from Year 3 are invited to audition.
The Primary Choir has been performing at the Police Remembrance Day Service for the past 5 years and regularly visits local retirement villages at Christmas time to sing to residents. The Primary Choir also leads at each Primary and often Whole College Worship.
Secondary School Students can be part of the Secondary School Band. Students in our Secondary Band can join either as singers or as musicians. This team leads our Secondary Worship and joins with our Primary Choir to lead in Whole College Worship.
We have a very successful Drama Programme, led by Mr Steve Capener - Head of Arts and Mrs Angela Angelos - Drama Teacher.
In 2020 we were very proud to have three of our drama students compete in the final of the Canning Shakespeare Competition. Our finalists are pictured below...
